Cllr Lucy Reid
Lucy lived and worked in Minchinhampton for three years before she was co-opted onto the parish council in July 2018.
A registered osteopath for 12 years before her appointment, her work means she is in daily contact with local people and so is able to listen to them and gain a general consensus about what is important to them.
She has two daughters. At the time of writing one attended Minchinhampton primary and the other was at the Coigne nursery, also in Minchinhampton, where she is a governor.
Lucy said her children had opened up a different way of seeing things. "I now feel very rooted in the community ... I want their experience of living here to be the best possible and to help create an even more caring community to grow up within," she said.
