Cllr Philip Callaghan-Wright
Philip and Katie have lived in the Minchinhampton area for 15 years and have a young son, Jonti.
Philip has worked in engineering, contract arbitration, law and now works in education as a specialist mathematics advisor, teacher and examiner, working with schools, and educational consultancies around the country.
He is a trustee of Minchinhampton Market House and sits on the NDP Steering Group.
As an independent councilor he seeks to balance maintaining the unique character and heritage of the parish with a sustainable future for all residents.
Philip has served local communities for over 30 years, in many roles, including school governor, Deanery Synod, Diocesan Board of Education, national charities, and as a trustee and member of music and dramatic societies -an interest that he has enjoyed on a semi-professional level, including with the BBC and the Theatre Royal Bath.
He is a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Educators, a Fellow of The Royal Society of Arts, a member of various professional bodies and is to be made a Freeman of the City of London.
