Cllr Philip Callaghan-Wright JP
Philip and Katie have lived in the Minchinhampton area for 16 years and have a young son and daughter.
Philip has worked in engineering, contract arbitration, law and now works in education as a specialist mathematics advisor, teacher and examiner, working with schools, educational consultancies and charities around the country.
As an independent councillor he seeks to balance maintaining the unique character and heritage of the parish with a sustainable future for all residents. He is a trustee of Minchinhampton Market House and sat on the NDP Steering Group.
Philip has served local communities for almost 40 years, in many roles, including school governor, Deanery Synod, Diocesan Board of Education, national charities and as a trustee and member of music and dramatic societies.
He is a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Educators, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, and a member of various professional bodies. He sits as a Justice of the Peace on the Gloucestershire Bench.
