Philippa has been a Parish Councillor since 2012 and has lived in the Parish since 1990.

Her interests in the Parish Council include care of the commons and liaising with the grazing community, as well as trying to deal with the increasing traffic volume and speed in the parish.

Cllr Schwartz sits on the Planning, Personnel and Complaints Committees as well as the Improving Minchinhampton Town Centre and Allotments working groups. She is the Council representative on Minchinhampton and Rodborough Committee of Commoners and has a special interest in Highway related matters.
